What is FaithFinder?
FaithFinder is an Alberta-first Canadian directory and growth platform for discovering churches, faith-friendly businesses and Christian or faith-based schools in one place. It helps people find faith-aligned resources near them and helps those organizations be found, connect and grow.
Who is FaithFinder for?
FaithFinder is for everyone with a stake in a thriving faith community: people searching for a church home or local faith-aligned resource, churches that want to be found, faith-friendly businesses seeking values-aligned customers, Christian schools, ministries and community leaders.
Is FaithFinder connected to a specific church or denomination?
No. FaithFinder is intentionally open to Christian traditions and does not favour one denomination over another. The goal is to help people find the church, school, ministry or business that is the right fit for them.
Why does FaithFinder exist, and how is it different from a typical directory?
Faith communities are stronger when churches, businesses, schools, ministries and individuals can find and support one another. Most directories stop at a name and address. FaithFinder combines discovery with optional visibility and growth tools so information, support and resources can move more easily across the wider faith community.
Is it free to use and be listed on FaithFinder?
Yes. Anyone can search FaithFinder for free. Eligible churches, schools and faith-friendly businesses can add or claim a free Core Listing. Businesses can optionally upgrade to a Featured Business Profile for $49 per month, which includes a dedicated FaithFinder landing page, enhanced content and additional visibility. Growth services are also available when needed.
Can churches, businesses and schools really help one another through FaithFinder?
That is at the heart of FaithFinder. A church member may need a local business, a family may be looking for a Christian school, and a business owner may want to support a local ministry. Making those connections easier can benefit more than one organization and the wider community.

FaithFinder is a Canadian platform launching first in Alberta. Current directory coverage is focused on Alberta, with expansion across Canada planned as the platform and its network of verified organizations grow.
What is the bigger vision for FaithFinder?
The vision is to build a national home for churches, faith-friendly businesses, Christian schools and ministries across Canada. FaithFinder is growing in stages. Future plans include community discussion, learning and sermon resources, service and volunteer opportunities, and a faith-friendly job board. New features will be introduced as each part is ready.
How do I get my church, business or school listed?
Start in the “Search FaithFinder for your organization” section and choose the Church, Business or School directory. If you find your organization, open its listing to review the available claim, verification or update options. If it is not in the directory, use the “Want to add your organization to FaithFinder?” section and submit a new listing. FaithFinder reviews additions for eligibility and possible duplicates before publishing. Eligible Core Listings are free. Optional Featured Profiles and growth services are available for organizations that want additional visibility or support.
